Job Overview:
The New Business Development Executive is responsible for opening conversations and setting meetings with potential clients. You'll play a pivotal role in driving our sales pipeline forward helping prospects understand the value of Nadel's offerings. The ideal candidate will be confident, outgoing, proactive, and able to start meaningful conversations with unknown prospects. You will gather key contact details, and secure meeting opportunities for the Head of New Business. Those successful in the New Business Development Executive role can progress into a New Business Development Manager or Account Manager role within 12 months.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify and initiate conversations with potential Nadel clients with the goal of scheduling appointments for the Head of New Business.
- Engage confidently with new contacts and decision makers.
- Work closely with the Head of New Business to ensure seamless scheduling and coordination, adding appointments to their diaries and ensuring they have all the necessary details to make the most of each meeting.
- Collect, log and qualify leads using CMR systems, ensuring all contact information is accurately recorded.
- Maintain a structured log of outreach activity, meetings schedules, and follow-ups.
- Main outreach methods being used will be Phone Calls, Email, Linkedln, and attending trade shows.
- Gain a thorough understanding of our company's products and services to effectively communicate their features and benefits to prospective clients.
Key Performance Indicators (KPls):
- Number of new prospects found and connected with on Linkedln.
- Amount of outreach completed (emails, Linkedln, Phone Calls).
- Number of meetings booked for Head of New Business.
- Lead to opportunity conversion % (in collaboration with Head of New Business).
- Feedback from Head of New Business on lead quality and alignment.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong interpersonal skills; must be outgoing, confident, and approachable.
- Confident in initiating conversations with the ability to engage potential clients and build rapport.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail in lead tracking and reporting.
- Familiarity working with a CRM system.
- Proactive, self-sufficient and able to work independently while maintaining communication and updating senior team.
- Minimum 2 years of consistent, target-driven sales experience (e.g., telesales, outbound B2B, telemarketing).
